The tradition continues as the 46th Annual Foothills of the Ozarks Sway Meets take place again at Parsons Stadium in Springdale AR this past weekend.
More than 200 vendors from across 4 states.
After taking a year of for Covid-19, vendors from Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma came out to sell, buy and even trade just about anything you can imagine. Several vehicles were on sale and ended up trading hands to new owners. More than 5,000 buyers made their way through the lines of vendors as they looked and bought items from vintage signs, hubcaps, nitrous systems for race cars and Model A parts.
New leadership, new location, new expectations
Cruising the Ozarks was asked to take the lead going forward for the swap meet and hopes to breath new life into the swap meet. The swap meet has a great history and we intent to continue the tradition while making some changes to improve the event for years to come.
The event will move to a new location for 2022. Washington County Fairgrounds will become the new home for the swap meet. The decision to change wasn't too difficult as the new location has room to grow, better security for our vendors and is easier to access from the I-49 interstate.
