Man, this is something that is near and dear to my heart. Remember being back in High School? For some of us it was some great times and for others, maybe not the best, but without a doubt the High School years were important and influenced us for our future. Today, High School isn't what it use to be and there is a growing gap in some really important areas of education. like the technical and vocational trades.
That's where CTO wants to provide some help. We are going to schools across the Ozarks and talking with students about what opportunities they have in technical and vocational trades. Recently, we've had the pleasure of being invited to Heritage High School in Rogers Arkansas. We got to tour their automotive program and in turn we got to show off a few members cars while talking to the students. Big thanks to Monte for having us and the letting us bring some cars into the shop. The big moment was when we were asked to rev up the engines in the shop and of course the Viper took the show as the students grouped up around the exhaust... it was pretty cool. Talking with the students was the highlight for me, asking them what they planned to do after High School and listening to their perspective on where life would that them.
Big thanks to our supporters that contribute to CTO that allows us to do this kind of thing. Cruising the Ozarks wants to continue visiting schools and providing the students choices in their future, so again thank you for everyone's support.
If you'd like to help us continue this program, we'd appreciate it very much. You can donate to Cruising the Ozarks anytime to help.
