Driven by Passion, Fueled by Community

Writer: Richie LovanRichie Lovan

My name is Richie Lovan, and I serve as the Community Outreach Director for Cruising the Ozarks.

Many of you may already know me, but for those who don’t, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I’m passionate about the work we do at Cruising the Ozarks—bringing together our community through a shared love of cars while also giving back through initiatives like our Show-Drive-Give Scholarship, which helps students pursue their academic dreams.

Many know me as the "Pontiac guy," but in reality, I love anything with wheels and a motor. My obsession with cars started at just one year old with a 97-cent Hot Wheel, and it has only grown since! I'm honored to serve on the CTO board and help strengthen our community one event at a time. I would love to hear your ideas and suggestions on how to continue to grow and expand Cruising the Ozarks to further support our mission. You can contact me at richie@cruisingozarks.com

Our mission at Cruising the Ozarks is to support the education of students who are passionate about pursuing a career in the skilled trades. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, we are committed to providing financial assistance to individuals who might not otherwise have the means to attend a technical trade school.

We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to pursue their dreams, and that a strong education is the foundation for success in any field. Through our scholarship programs and other initiatives, we seek to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to achieve their goals.

At Cruising the Ozarks, we are driven by a deep commitment to excellence, both in our own work and in the work of the students we support. We believe that by investing in the next generation of skilled workers, we can help to build a stronger, more prosperous future for our communities and our country.

Ultimately, our mission is to help students to realize their full potential and to build a better world for all of us. We are proud to be a part of this important work, and we look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the years to come.
