My name is Jason Czerak, Director of Special Events for Cruising the Ozarks. I hope many of you know me, but for those that don't, I'm that guy with the loud Corvette C6 with slicks on 4 corners, or maybe the fancy Mercedes Benz E63s, GLB 35, maybe C4 Corvette. Surely you know Remington, our German Shepherd who's always leaping for a frisbee across the parking lot!
My history with cars is similar to most. It started when I was teenager, with my older brother getting his first car, a 1979 Camaro. It ended up with around 500hp on the bottle, which was super car fast back then. I was hooked when I first heard them cherry bomb mufflers! My first car was a 1993 Jeep XJ 2 door 5 speed. I wish I didn't destroy that car, but it was super fun rebuilding the motor, drive train, floorboards.

I grew up in the greater Detroit Michigan area. Frequented Gratiot Ave and Woodward Ave, both historic cruise strips in the 90's and early 2000's. The late nights hanging out, cruising up and down the strip, horrible food at Coney Island (Waffle house of the north), occasional spirted acceleration from light to light.

Mid 2000's I moved to Minneapolis, which itself has a rich car culture. Detroit was focused on domestic, Minneapolis more so everything else. Little did I know that when I bought my 2006 Corvette, my future wife would be hooked on that LS power. Yes boys, there are true car girls out there!

When Amy and I moved to NWA several years ago, we were drawn to the CTO team for their mission, Show-Drive-Give. It's changed the lives of many already in and around NWA and I look forward to helping expand the scholarship further.

Beyond my dedication to the car community, Remington needed a job. He's more than just a frisbee addict! We volunteer with the Benton Country Search and Rescue. The BCSAR K9 team are very talented and dedicated individuals whose passion for K9's rivals ours for all things with wheels! Remington is training for scent tracking in urban and semi-wilderness, if you see him in his vest at Cars and Coffee or a random car show, he may be training!
