March Get Out & Drive

Updated: Apr 5

Hey there Cruising the Ozarks community! Let's take a pit stop and reminisce about the fantastic ride we had during our March Get-Out-and-Drive event. Teaming up with the Pontiac & GMC Club of Arkansas, we revved our engines for a day filled with Car Cruises and Social Shenanigans that won't soon be forgotten.

First off, major kudos to all the clubs that rolled in from near and far to make this event truly special. The Northwest Arkansas Camaro Club, Greater-Ozarks Chapter of the Pontiac-Oakland Club International, and the Heartbeat of the Ozarks Car Clubs, we're tipping our hats to you for your enthusiastic support!

Our home base for the day was none other than Allen's Food Store, where Manager Steve Morrow opened up their grounds for us to gather, show off our wheels, and rev up the excitement. A big shoutout to them for their hospitality and partnership.

As we all know, early Spring weather can be as unpredictable as a squirrel on the road, but luck was on our side. The sun was shining, the breeze was just right, and it was a perfect day to let those sunroofs open, tops down, and T-tops out for the lucky ones among us.

Now, let's talk about the journey to Downtown Neosho. Ah, the joys of a convoy of 60 cars taking on the open road. Some took scenic detours, others may have made a surprise U-turn or two (we won't name names!), but hey, that's all part of the fun, right?

The town of Neosho welcomed us with open arms and wide smiles. Residents and local businesses lined the streets, soaking in the sights of classic cars, muscle machines, modern marvels, lifted trucks, and everything in between. It was a rolling car show like no other!

Speaking from the heart as the Community Outreach Director at Cruising the Ozarks, seeing the unity and support among different automotive organizations warms my soul. We might all have our own groups and events in the pipeline, but coming together to celebrate each other's passion is what it's all about.

To everyone who joined us on this epic adventure, whether behind the wheel or cheering from the sidewalks, I extend my heartfelt thanks. Your presence and enthusiasm made this event truly unforgettable.

Until the next cruise, keep those engines roaring and the spirit of community alive!

Revving with gratitude,

Richie Lovan
