What a great day... The weather was perfect.... The folks were amazing...
So not only did we have the Annual Fall Road Tour (the 5th year now), but we added a Poker Run for everyone to take part in and raise money for the SHOW-DRIVE-GIVE Scholarship. The only thing that was better than the roads, people and cars was the fact that we raise over $500 for the scholarship fund. $500 may not seem like a lot to everyone, but to a student, $500 is a big deal. It could be a complete set of tools, training material or other things they need that they might not be able to afford otherwise.
Not only did we raise $500 for the scholarship, but we all had a ton of fun with the Poker Run and the best roads the area had to offer. If you're not having fun, then why do it... right?
Our community is amazing in so many ways; Accepting to everyone with anything they drive, lending a hand when someone needed help fixing their vehicle or supporting the scholarship fund by buying 5 hands...
We at Cruising the Ozarks are so lucky to be part of this community and we will make sure that we are always supporting and growing this community.
